***The last day to check out books will be May 11. All books need to be returned the week of May 14-18. May 18 is the last day that both media centers will be open for this school year to allow time to wrap up all activities before students leave for the summer.

To better facilitate the use of all computer labs, please contact Mrs. Marcia Geiser, MGeiser@northcentralschool.org, to schedule lab time with as much advanced notice as possible. The first floor lab (Lab #1), the elementary media center lab (Lab #2), the high school media center lab (Lab #3),  and the third floor computer applications lab (Lab #4) may be used throughout the day when available by ALL grades. Regular weekly lab schedules can only be set up for 2 weeks at a time. Please be aware that the schedules remain as the exact times listed during delay schedules. If you have conflicts with your class schedule and the lab schedule on delay days, you will need to contact Marcia to see if other arrangements can be made. The same holds true for cancellation days.

***Please note: At ALL times, a teacher must be with students in Lab 1, Lab 2, and Lab 4. Lab 3 is supervised throughout the day. Therefore, this lab is open for individual students or a small group of 3-4 needing to use computers to complete academic work when there are open computers. All staff members need to call Mrs. Geiser at # 5212 before sending students to be sure open seats are available.

When using the labs, please monitor your students closely to insure proper use of equipment. Also, please help us keep the lab clean for the next group by picking up around each computer and carefully returning all chairs to their correct places.  Be careful so as to not move any computer desks. Do not allow students to write on the desks, computer, monitors, etc. DO NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO HAVE FOOD OR DRINK in any lab area! The door to the first floor computer lab must be LOCKED at all times except for those classes scheduled to be in there at the times listed below.

(Please note that those listed in blue are bi-weekly schedules. NA indicates that the lab is unavailable due to library classes, professional development, student meetings, etc
